Hello Everyone!

It’s MIX2010 in Las Vegas (“A 3 day conference for web designers and developers building the world’s most innovative web sites”) and we are journaling the event through the eyes and ears of Michael Pellegrin. We will show the highs (and possibly lows… it *is* Vegas after all) of the event with four days of everything from insights on Microsoft development to Silverlight, Expression, Windows 7Series phone and maybe even the super secret ‘Courier’ tablet.

So, stay tuned to the Kelpworks web log at:

I found this fabulous collection the other day from a designer in Belgrade. I’ve been following her on Twitter for awhile and she has some really good finds for designers.

Well, this find was a great one. Tons of web and mobile templates that you can print out and sketch layouts for web design and UI development. It’s perfect for visually showing clients, and other members of your team, your *vision* of the project.

Check them out at this link:

Calling all web designers: Have you ever had that mysterious color shift when saving an image from Photoshop for use on the web? Of course you have. I’ve tried changing lots of settings without much luck. This article has some simple tips on how to strip your Photoshop settings to achieve better results.

There are a lot of comments (over 200!), some applauding these tips, and other people voicing their own ideas and concerns. Anyone have other tips they want to share?
